Spring clean up and pruning
Spring is here and with that you will see the splendid colors of the rainbow. This is a good time to cut back any dead stems from last year's perennials. It is also a good time to prune roses. Start with the dead branches. You can cut back 1/3 of your shrub to encourage new growth.
